Offerings during the millenium

Why do people have to give an animal sacrificial offering during the millenium since Christ has already died for their sins?
Dear Shirley,

My apologies for not answering your question sooner. Things were kind of unorganized during our move.

In answer to your question Jewish believers of the NT did not hesitate to take part in the temple worship (Ats 2:46; 3:1; 5:42). Paul took the Nazarite vow (Acts 18:18) and offered sacrifices at the completion of his vow (Acts 21:26).

Israel will do this during the Millenium (Ezek. 40:39-42) because they will view the sacrifices as memorials of Christ's death. We have the Lord's supper as a memorial of Christ's death.

Other passages also refer to a sacrificial system in the Millennium (Isa. 56:7; 66:20-23; Jer. 33:18; Zeh. 14:16-21; Mal. 3:3-4).

Thanks for your patience!
